The NORTON 66254427848 is a coated quick-change abrasive disc from the RazorStar series, designed for aggressive material removal on metal and other hard surfaces. It measures 3 inches in diameter, uses 36-grit ceramic alumina abrasive, and is rated for a maximum of 20,000 RPM. The coarse grit and ceramic alumina composition make it well suited for rapid stock removal, weld blending, and surface conditioning tasks. The cloth backing with Y-weight construction provides durability under heavy pressure. It mounts via a Type R attaching system for fast disc swaps without tools.

This disc is intended for use in metal fabrication, welding shops, and maintenance environments where high-speed grinding and surface prep are routine. The Type III quick-change interface is compatible with standard Type R disc holders and right-angle grinders equipped with a threaded mandrel. The 36-grit coarse grade is best applied to initial weld seam removal, deburring, and rapid stock reduction on steel and similar ferrous materials. Installation Notes
