Built on a vitrified bond with a silicon carbide abrasive, this wheel delivers consistent stock removal at a medium grade (60 grit, I hardness code). The wheel measures 14 inches in diameter and 1-1/2 inches thick with a 5-inch arbor hole, a one-side recess of 1/2 inch depth and 8-inch recess diameter, and a rated maximum speed of 1,800 RPM. At 13.51 pounds, it is suited for stationary surface and cylindrical grinding operations where precision flatness and controlled cut rate are required.
This wheel is intended for use on surface grinders and cylindrical grinders in professional machine shop, fabrication, and industrial maintenance environments.
