Built with ceramic abrasive grain and a vitrified bond, it operates at a maximum of 1800 RPM and delivers consistent, cool cutting action across the full wheel face. At 14 inches in diameter, 1 inch thick, and with a 5 inch arbor hole, this wheel is sized for production-grade surface and cylindrical grinder spindles. The 60 grit, J hardness (medium grade) combination suits stock removal passes where controlled aggressiveness and wheel integrity under load both matter. This wheel is rated for use on 400 series stainless steel, hard carbon steels, tool steels, titanium, super alloys, cast iron, ductile iron, and gray iron. It is designed to mount on CNC cutting tool machines, cylindrical grinders, and surface grinders. The porous, semi-friable ceramic structure allows the wheel to self-sharpen as it cuts, which helps maintain cut rate on hard, heat-sensitive workpiece materials.
