It measures 14 inches in diameter with a 1.5-inch face width and a 5-inch arbor hole, and it is rated to a maximum of 2320 RPM. This wheel is designed for use on surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, and CNC cutting tool machines. The porous, vitrified bond structure promotes cool cutting by allowing coolant penetration and efficient swarf clearance. It performs reliably on soft carbon steels, tool steels, and super alloys where a coarse, open-structure wheel is needed to maintain wheel face condition without excessive loading. Grinding wheel mounting and dressing must be performed by a qualified machinist or grinding specialist following ANSI B11.9 safety requirements.
