The NORTON 66253246913 is a Type 1 vitrified aluminum oxide surface grinding wheel engineered for aggressive material removal on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. At 14 inches in diameter, 1 inch thick, with a 5-inch arbor hole, this wheel runs at a maximum of 2320 RPM. The 46-grit, H-hardness (coarse grade) specification makes it well suited for high-stock-removal passes where surface finish is secondary to speed and efficiency. The vitrified bond provides consistent cutting action and good wheel breakdown characteristics throughout the wheel life. At 11.43 pounds, the wheel carries the mass needed to maintain contact pressure on large workpieces without flex.
