Grinding wheel mounting must be performed by qualified personnel following ANSI B7.1 safety standards for the use, care, and protection of abrasive wheels. Use flanges of the correct size and type, ensure the arbor hole fits without forcing, and run the wheel under guard at operating speed for at least one minute before bringing it into contact with the workpiece.
