Grinding wheel installation and dressing should be performed by qualified personnel following applicable ANSI B11 and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.215 machine guarding standards. Ring-test the wheel before use, ensure flanges and blotters are correctly seated, and run the wheel at operating speed for at least one minute with guards in place before bringing it into contact with the workpiece.
