It measures 8 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick, with a 1-1/4 inch arbor hole. The abrasive matrix is aluminum oxide bonded with a vitrified bond, rated at 100 grit in a Fine grade with a Medium hardness rating (Hardness Code I). Specification designation is 32A100-IVBE. Rated to a maximum of 3600 RPM, this wheel is designed for use on surface grinders and cylindrical grinders in professional shop environments. Machinists, toolroom technicians, and grinding machine operators are the primary installers and users.
This wheel is suited for both production and toolroom applications where a fine surface finish is required on a variety of workpiece materials. Always power down and lock out the grinder before mounting or removing a wheel. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage before mounting, and perform a ring test per ANSI guidelines. Never exceed the 3600 RPM maximum speed rating marked on the wheel or packaging.
