Built with a ceramic abrasive grain and a vitrified bond, this wheel delivers consistent cut rates and long wheel life under demanding production conditions. At 8 inches in diameter, 1 inch thick, and with a 1-1/4 inch arbor hole, it fits standard surface grinder spindles. The 46 grit coarse grade and K hardness rating (medium) make it well suited for aggressive stock removal rather than finishing passes. This grinding wheel is intended for use on surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, and CNC cutting tool machines in industrial and job-shop settings. It performs on a broad range of difficult-to-grind workpiece materials including 400 series stainless steel, hard carbon steels, tool steels, titanium, super alloys, cast iron, ductile iron, and gray iron.
