It measures 7 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick with a 1-1/4 inch arbor hole, making it a standard fit for bench-mounted and pedestal-style surface grinders. The abrasive is white aluminum oxide with a vitrified bond, rated at a medium grade with an I hardness code. Maximum operating speed is 3,600 RPM. The semi-friable aluminum oxide grain continuously self-sharpens under load, maintaining a consistent cut rate across the wheel's service life. Machinists, tool-and-die makers, and grinding specialists are the primary installers.
This wheel is designed for use on cylindrical grinders and surface grinders in job shop, production, and maintenance-repair environments.
