At 80 grit with a K hardness code (medium grade), it balances aggressive material removal with controlled surface finish. Rated to 3600 RPM, it is sized at 7 inches in diameter, 3/4 inches thick, with a 1-1/4 inch arbor hole. This wheel is suited for surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, and use on CNC cutting tool machines. It performs across a broad material range including 400 series stainless steel, hard and soft carbon steels, tool steels, aluminum, cast iron, ductile iron, and gray iron. The non-porous, non-tapered Type 1 flat wheel profile makes it a straightforward fit for standard horizontal and vertical spindle surface grinders in both production shop and toolroom environments.

Inspect the wheel for cracks or chips using the ring test before mounting, and never exceed the stated maximum RPM of 3600. Confirm the arbor hole fits the machine spindle correctly and that proper flanges and blotters are used before returning the machine to service.
