The NORTON 66252939707 is a Type 1 surface grinding wheel engineered for precision stock removal on ferrous and specialty metals. Built on an aluminum oxide abrasive with a vitrified bond, this wheel carries an H hardness code and a medium grade rating, making it well suited for controlled material removal without excessive wheel wear. The 38A series designation indicates a semi-friable abrasive structure that self-sharpens during aggressive cuts. This wheel is used in surface grinding operations on soft carbon steels, tool steels, and super alloys.
