Built with a ceramic abrasive grain and vitrified bond, it delivers consistent cutting action and thermal resistance throughout its service life. The wheel measures 7 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch thick, with a 1-1/4 inch arbor hole for standard spindle mounting. At 60 grit with a medium (K) hardness rating, it is sized for stock removal passes rather than finish grinding. Maximum operating speed is 3600 RPM. It is installed and operated by machinists and tool grinders in precision grinding applications.

Grinding wheels must be installed and operated by qualified personnel familiar with ANSI B11.9 and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.215 standards for abrasive wheel machinery. Before mounting, inspect the wheel for cracks or chips using the ring test; never mount a damaged wheel. Power down and lock out the grinder before changing wheels, confirm the machine spindle speed does not exceed the wheel's 3600 RPM maximum rating, and use the correct flange size and arbor hardware for a secure, centered fit. Always dress the wheel after mounting and before the first cut.
