The 60-grit ceramic grain continuously fractures during use, exposing fresh, sharp cutting edges throughout the disc's life. A resin bond system locks grain in place to maximize retention under heavy load, while a self-lubricating grain treatment reduces heat buildup and improves cut rate. The polyester Y-weight backing provides rigidity and durability through demanding grinding applications. Licensed tradespeople and fabricators performing weld blending, deburring, and stock removal are the primary users.
