It uses an aluminum oxide abrasive bonded with a vitrified bond for consistent stock removal on ferrous metals and general-purpose materials. The wheel measures 1-1/4 inches thick and mounts on a 1/4-inch diameter shank with a 1-1/2-inch shank length. Rated at a maximum of 38,050 RPM, it operates at medium grit (60) and medium hardness density, making it well suited for moderate material removal without excessive surface damage. Licensed machinists, tool and die technicians, and maintenance grinders are the typical installers.
This mounted point fits standard die grinders and rotary tools equipped with a 1/4-inch collet. The A12 pointed tree profile provides access to contoured surfaces, slots, ports, weld seams, and internal bores where flat or straight wheels cannot reach.
