The NORTON 088341-37370 is a high-performance mini flap wheel designed for precision grinding, blending, and finishing on metal, wood, and composite surfaces. Mounted on a 1/4-inch shank for use with die grinders and drill presses, this wheel features ceramic alumina abrasive grain, which fractures continuously during use to expose fresh cutting edges. The result is aggressive, consistent stock removal throughout the life of the wheel. At a maximum operating speed of 25,000 RPM, it handles demanding surface prep and deburring tasks efficiently. Sold in a 10-pack, this wheel is a staple for fabricators, machinists, and maintenance technicians working in tight or contoured areas.
This mini flap wheel is suited for use on inside diameters, contoured profiles, and restricted-access areas where larger abrasive tools cannot reach. The 2 x 1 x 1/4-inch configuration and 60 grit rating make it appropriate for medium-cut applications such as weld blending, deburring pipe and tubing, and surface conditioning on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The 10-unit packaging supports ongoing production work and job site supply needs.
Designed for use with die grinders and rotary tools fitted with a 1/4-inch collet or chuck. Suitable for metal fabrication, pipe finishing, and general surface conditioning applications where a 1/4-inch shank mounted abrasive wheel is required.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with abrasive wheel safety standards, including ANSI B7.1 guidelines. Before mounting, verify that the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 25,000 RPM rating marked on the wheel. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage before each use and never use a damaged wheel. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves during grinding operations.
