The NORTH 7582P100L is a combination cartridge filter designed to protect workers from acid gases and particulates in industrial and trade environments. Rated P100 by NIOSH under approval number TC-23C-207, this cartridge delivers high-efficiency particulate filtration alongside acid gas protection. It is part of the North 7506 series respirator platform and is sold as a package of two cartridges. Licensed safety professionals, industrial hygienists, and tradespeople working around chemical exposure hazards specify this cartridge for use in environments where acid gas concentrations and fine particulates present respiratory risk.
The 7582P100L is suited for applications involving acid gas exposure such as chlorine, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, and similar chemical agents. It is commonly used in chemical processing, metal plating, janitorial and cleaning operations, and industrial maintenance settings. The P100 particulate rating makes it appropriate in environments where both gas-phase and aerosol hazards are present. Tradespeople in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial service who work around harsh chemical environments may select this cartridge when respiratory protection programs call for acid gas and high-efficiency particulate coverage.
Designed for use with North 7506 series half-mask and full-face respirators. Verify fit and approval requirements against your site-specific respiratory protection program before installation.
Cartridge installation and respirator use should be performed by a qualified person in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 and the site respiratory protection program. Inspect cartridges for physical damage before each use and follow the manufacturer change-out schedule based on service life guidelines and exposure concentrations. Do not use cartridges beyond their stated service life or in immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH) atmospheres unless equipment is rated for such conditions. Proper donning, doffing, and fit-check procedures must be followed each time the respirator is worn.
