The NORTEK GLOBAL HVAC P7RE-048KA is a 4-ton, single-stage convertible packaged air conditioning unit designed for rooftop or ground-level commercial and residential applications. Rated at 14 SEER with an EER of 11, it delivers consistent cooling performance from a self-contained cabinet. The unit operates on 208-230 volts, 60 Hz, single-phase power and uses R-410A refrigerant with a factory charge of 70 oz. Airflow is rated at 1,895 CFM. The convertible design allows flexible duct connection configurations, making it adaptable to a range of installation layouts. Licensed HVAC technicians perform the installation and commissioning of this equipment.
The P7RE-048KA is suited for light commercial and residential replacement or new-construction packaged system installations where a single outdoor cabinet handles both the condensing and air-handling functions. Its single-stage operation makes it well matched to applications with moderate, consistent cooling loads. The unit is compatible with optional electric heat kits H3HK(005-020)H-01C and H3HK(015-020)H-21C, which are sold separately and allow the system to provide supplemental or primary heating without a separate furnace or heat pump.
Compatible optional electric heat kits for this unit are H3HK(005-020)H-01C and H3HK(015-020)H-21C, sold separately. Designed as an OEM packaged air conditioning unit for single-phase, 208-230V applications requiring a self-contained cooling system with optional electric heat.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer installation instructions. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before servicing or connecting wiring. Ensure the mounting pad or rooftop curb is level and rated for the unit weight before setting the cabinet. Refrigerant handling requires EPA Section 608 certification; do not open refrigerant circuits unless qualified.
