The NORTEK GLOBAL HVAC MG1E-090F1ABM1 is a single-stage, downflow gas furnace engineered for mobile home installations. It delivers 90,000 BTU/h input and approximately 68,000 to 72,000 BTU/h output at 80 percent AFUE, meaning 80 percent of the fuel burned is converted to usable heat. The unit runs on a 120 VAC, 60 Hz, single-phase power supply and uses an ECM blower motor for efficient airflow management. A sealed combustion system and direct vent configuration draw combustion air from outside and exhaust flue gases outdoors, keeping the living space air separate from the combustion process. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation and service of this unit.
This furnace is designed specifically for mobile and manufactured home applications where a downflow, front-return configuration is required. It supports nominal cooling tonnage from 2.0 to 4.0 tons, making it compatible with add-on air conditioning systems. Nominal airflow is rated at 1,600 CFM. The cabinet is fully insulated, and the unit features a large air filter, a high-efficiency drum heat exchanger, reliable burners, and an appliance-quality door with an easy-open pawl latch. AHRI certification confirms that the published capacity and efficiency ratings have been independently verified.
Designed as an OEM-specified downflow gas furnace for mobile and manufactured home installations requiring a front-return configuration with direct vent sealed combustion and add-on air conditioning compatibility from 2.0 to 4.0 nominal tons.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with the manufacturer instructions, local mechanical codes, and applicable requirements of the IFGC. Shut off gas supply and disconnect electrical power before beginning any service or installation work. The direct vent system requires proper termination of both the combustion air intake and exhaust flue to the exterior per the venting instructions included with the unit. Do not operate the furnace without the air filter in place and the cabinet door fully secured.
