The NORTEK GLOBAL HVAC C7BAM01824C-A is a Type A multipoise cased evaporator coil designed for residential split-system air conditioning applications. Built on the C7 micro-channel coil platform, it delivers 24000 BTU/h nominal cooling capacity at 1300 CFM airflow. The coil uses an orifice metering device and is charged for use with R-410A refrigerant. Its multipoise design allows installation in multiple orientations, making it adaptable to a range of air handler and furnace configurations. Licensed HVAC technicians install this coil as part of a split cooling system or heat pump setup.
This coil is suited for residential cooling systems requiring a 1.5 to 2 ton capacity range. The cased design integrates directly with compatible upflow, downflow, or horizontal air handlers. The liquid line connection is 3/8 inch and the suction line connection is 3/4 inch. The coil measures 20.75 inches in length and 14.5 inches in width, fitting standard residential equipment footprints. It is AHRI Certified, NATE Certified, and ETL Listed, confirming it meets established industry performance and safety standards.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation cased evaporator coil for residential split-system cooling and heat pump applications in the 1.5 to 2 ton capacity range using R-410A refrigerant.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the equipment manufacturer's instructions. De-energize and recover all system refrigerant before disconnecting any refrigerant lines or removing the existing coil. Verify that the air handler or furnace cabinet dimensions are compatible with the coil's footprint before installation. Leak-check all brazed or flared connections after installation and before recharging the system.
