The NORGREN VP5010BJ111H00 is a high-pressure pneumatic pressure reducing valve designed to regulate and reduce downstream air or gas pressure in industrial and commercial compressed-air systems. Built with an aluminum body, this valve accepts a 0.25-inch threaded pipe connection and delivers a reduced pressure range up to 145 psi. It is sized for compact inline installations where precise downstream pressure control is required. Licensed pipefitters, HVAC-R technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals typically specify this type of valve in pneumatic control circuits, compressed-air distribution lines, and process automation systems.
This valve fits into 0.25-inch threaded pipe runs and is suited for applications where high-pressure supply lines must be stepped down to a controlled working pressure. Its aluminum body keeps weight low while providing adequate durability for dry compressed-air service. The high-pressure valve type designation makes it appropriate for supply lines operating at elevated inlet pressures before regulation. It does not include an integral strainer, so upstream filtration should be addressed separately in the system design.
Designed as an OEM-style inline pressure reducing valve for 0.25-inch threaded compressed-air and pneumatic piping systems requiring downstream pressure regulation up to 145 psi.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or licensed technician in accordance with applicable piping codes such as the ASME B31.1 or facility compressed-air system standards. Depressurize and isolate the compressed-air line completely before removing any existing valve or fitting. Because this valve does not include a built-in strainer, install an appropriate upstream particulate filter to protect the valve seat and regulating mechanism. Confirm that inlet pressure does not exceed the valve rating before returning the system to service.
