The NORGREN T72E-3AA-P1N is a lockout air valve designed for compressed air systems requiring controlled isolation and energy lockout during service or maintenance procedures. The valve uses a slide actuator with a 2-position, 3-port design, allowing the operator to physically shift the actuator to block or pass airflow. It accepts a 3/8-inch NPT threaded inlet connection and is rated for a maximum working pressure of 250 psi with a Cv rating of 8 and a flow capacity of 240 cubic feet per minute. Industrial maintenance technicians, pneumatic system installers, and MRO professionals typically install this valve as part of lockout/tagout compliance setups on pneumatic equipment.
This valve is suited for industrial and commercial pneumatic systems where positive air shutoff is required before maintenance work begins. It is commonly installed on air supply lines feeding pneumatic actuators, cylinders, tools, and automated equipment. The 3/8-inch NPT threaded connection fits standard compressed air piping and manifold assemblies. Its operating temperature range of -30 degrees F to 150 degrees F makes it appropriate for both indoor and outdoor plant environments across a wide range of climate conditions.
Designed for use in industrial compressed air systems with 3/8-inch NPT threaded connections and supply pressures up to 250 psi. Suitable as an OEM-style or replacement lockout valve in pneumatic control and distribution assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a qualified industrial maintenance technician or pneumatic systems professional. Depressurize and lock out the air supply line fully before installing or replacing this valve, in accordance with applicable OSHA lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures. Use thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service on all NPT connections and verify there are no leaks before returning the system to operation. Do not exceed the rated maximum working pressure of 250 psi.
