The NORGREN T70A2800 is a quick exhaust valve designed to rapidly vent downstream air pressure from pneumatic actuators, cylinders, and similar devices. By exhausting air locally rather than routing it back through the control valve, it dramatically reduces actuator response time and cycle rates. The valve accepts 1/4 inch NPT connections and is rated for operating pressures from 7 to 145 psi. The body is constructed from zinc for a balance of corrosion resistance and durability in industrial service conditions. Licensed pneumatic system technicians and industrial maintenance professionals are the typical installers for this type of component.
The T70A2800 is suited for use in factory automation, material handling, and general industrial pneumatic circuits where fast actuator response is required. It mounts inline at or near the actuator port to minimize dead volume between the valve and the actuator. This close-coupled installation approach is what delivers the cycle time improvement that makes quick exhaust valves a standard component in high-speed pneumatic applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit component for pneumatic actuator circuits requiring 1/4 inch NPT quick exhaust functionality within the 7 to 145 psi operating range.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic systems technician. Depressurize the entire pneumatic circuit completely before removing or installing any valve components. The quick exhaust valve should be mounted as close as possible to the actuator port to achieve maximum cycle time reduction. Follow all applicable facility safety lockout and tagout procedures before beginning work.
