The NORGREN R74G-4AK-RMN is a standard compressed air regulator designed to maintain consistent downstream pressure in pneumatic systems. Built around a zinc body construction, this unit handles supply pressures up to 300 psi and delivers a maximum flow rate of 220 CFM, making it well-suited for demanding industrial and commercial air supply applications. The 1/2 inch NPTF port connections ensure a secure, thread-sealed fit into existing pneumatic lines. With a pressure adjustment range of 5 to 150 psi, the R74G-4AK-RMN gives technicians precise control over working pressure. A built-in relief function protects downstream components from overpressure conditions. Installation is handled by qualified pneumatic, mechanical, or industrial maintenance technicians.
This regulator fits into compressed air distribution systems across industrial, manufacturing, and commercial facility environments. It is particularly appropriate for inline pressure regulation on air compressor feed lines, pneumatic tool circuits, and automated machinery air supply networks. The modular connection design supports integration into Norgren Series R74G modular FRL (filter-regulator-lubricator) assemblies where compatible components are in use. The unit handles compressed air service and is rated for operating temperatures as low as -30 degrees F, supporting use in cold-environment installations such as refrigerated facilities or outdoor equipment enclosures.
Designed for use in Series R74G modular compressed air regulator applications with 1/2 inch NPTF porting. Compatible with compressed air fluid service only.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic or industrial maintenance technician familiar with compressed air system procedures. Depressurize and lock out the air supply line completely before removing or installing any regulator. Apply appropriate thread sealant to NPTF connections per the system manufacturer's guidelines. Verify downstream pressure settings with a calibrated gauge before returning the system to service.
