The NORGREN R40-200-BNSA is a remote pilot compressed air regulator designed for pneumatic systems requiring precise downstream pressure control from a remote signal source. Built from aluminum, this regulator accepts a 1/4 inch NPT port connection and handles supply pressures up to 450 psi. It delivers an airflow capacity of 6.4 CFM and operates across a regulated output range of 10 to 250 psi. Licensed pipefitters, millwrights, and industrial maintenance technicians typically install this type of regulator in automated process lines, pneumatic control panels, and compressed air distribution systems where direct manual adjustment is not practical.
The R40-200-BNSA is suited for compressed air service in industrial and commercial pneumatic applications. Its remote pilot configuration makes it appropriate for installations where the regulator is mounted in a remote or hard-to-access location and pressure setpoint is governed by a separate pilot signal. It operates on compressed air only and is not rated for liquid or gas media. The aluminum body keeps weight low for panel or manifold mounting scenarios where component mass is a consideration.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation remote pilot air regulator for industrial compressed air systems utilizing 1/4 inch NPT porting and requiring pilot-operated pressure regulation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or pneumatic systems technician following applicable codes and the system manufacturer's guidelines. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply completely before removing or installing any regulator in the line. Confirm that all upstream supply pressure does not exceed the 450 psi maximum rating of this regulator. Apply thread sealant to NPT connections per standard practice and verify pilot signal lines are properly routed and rated for the system operating pressures.
