The NORGREN C24470648 is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel elbow tube fitting designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid-line applications. It connects tubing with a 3/8-inch outside diameter to a 1/2-inch male NPTF threaded port, with the swivel design allowing the elbow angle to be adjusted after installation for clean routing. Constructed from brass with a nitrile O-ring, this fitting handles working pressures up to 150 psi and operating temperatures from 0 degrees F to 175 degrees F. It is sold individually and installs without threading tools on the tube side.
This fitting is suited for general-purpose pneumatic plumbing in HVAC equipment, compressed air distribution, and light fluid-transfer systems. The push-to-connect tube end accepts 3/8-inch OD tubing and the male NPTF thread seals into female-threaded ports on valves, manifolds, cylinders, or equipment panels. The 90-degree orientation with swivel capability makes it useful in tight cabinets or enclosures where tubing must change direction close to a threaded port.
Designed as a general-purpose push-to-connect fitting for use with 3/8-inch OD tubing and equipment with 1/2-inch female NPTF threaded ports in pneumatic and fluid-handling systems.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or pipefitter. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Thread the NPTF male end into the receiving port by hand first, then tighten with a wrench to a snug, leak-free fit — do not overtighten brass fittings. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect end until it seats, and verify retention before repressurizing the system.
