The NORGREN C24470518 is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel elbow tube fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid-transfer lines in trade and industrial service applications. Constructed from brass with a nitrile O-ring seal, this fitting accepts 5/16-inch outside-diameter tubing on the push-to-connect ports and terminates with a 1/8-inch NPTF male threaded end. It is rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 175 degrees F. The swivel design allows the threaded end to rotate during installation, reducing torque stress on connected tubing and simplifying routing in tight spaces. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pneumatic-system mechanics are the typical installers.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic control lines, compressed-air distribution, and fluid-transfer tubing runs where a 90-degree change of direction is required. The push-to-connect mechanism allows fast, tool-free tube insertion while the swivel elbow threads into a fixed 1/8-inch NPTF port on valves, manifolds, solenoids, or equipment panels. Its compact overall length of 1.16 inches makes it practical in panel-mount and tight-clearance installations common in HVAC controls and pneumatic actuator circuits.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for pneumatic control and fluid-transfer tubing systems accepting 5/16-inch OD tubing with a 1/8-inch NPTF male port connection.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician, plumber, or pneumatic-systems mechanic. De-energize and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Hand-tighten the NPTF thread into the receiving port, then apply additional turns per standard NPTF assembly practice — do not overtighten brass threads into aluminum or cast-iron ports. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect collet until it bottoms out, then apply a slight pull-back to confirm the collet has locked the tube in place.
