The NORGREN C24250428 is a straight push-to-connect adapter fitting designed to join tubing to a male NPT port in a single inline connection. Constructed from brass, this fitting accepts 1/4 inch OD tubing on each tube end and threads into a 1/4 inch NPTF male port, providing a leak-resistant, tool-free tube connection on the push-to-connect side. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure with a nitrile O-ring seal, it is suited for compressed air, pneumatic control, and fluid-transfer lines operating between 0 degrees F and 175 degrees F. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pneumatic system installers use this fitting to adapt tubing runs to threaded port connections quickly and reliably.
This fitting is commonly used in residential and light commercial pneumatic control systems, compressed air distribution lines, and fluid handling assemblies where a straight inline tube-to-NPT adapter is required. The push-to-connect design eliminates the need for ferrules or compression sleeves on the tube ends, making it a practical choice for service and retrofit work where connection speed and repeatability matter. It is appropriate for use in equipment panels, control enclosures, and equipment with threaded ports requiring a tubing transition.
Designed as an OEM-style inline adapter for pneumatic and fluid-transfer tubing systems using 1/4 inch OD tubing with 1/4 inch NPTF male threaded ports.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or pneumatic system technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the NPTF male threads per the fitting manufacturer and applicable plumbing or pneumatic system guidelines. Confirm tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and fully seated in the push-to-connect end before pressurizing the system.
