The NORGREN C02680628 is a push-to-connect tube-to-male BSPP tube fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid control plumbing lines. Constructed from brass, this fitting accepts a 6 mm outside diameter tube on each tube port and connects to a male BSPP-threaded port. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 150 psi and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 175 degrees F. The push-to-connect design allows for fast, tool-free tube insertion and secure locking without ferrules or compression rings. A nitrile O-ring provides the sealing interface. Plumbers, pipefitters, and fluid-systems technicians working on general-purpose pneumatic or liquid lines install this fitting in both OEM and maintenance applications.
This fitting is suited for general-purpose pneumatic and low-pressure fluid distribution systems where a BSPP male threaded port must transition to push-to-connect tube connections. The male BSPP thread engages a corresponding female BSPP-threaded port in a manifold, valve body, or equipment housing, while the push-to-connect ends accept 6 mm OD tubing on each side. Typical install scenarios include light industrial pneumatic circuits, instrumentation lines, and equipment plumbing where quick tube make-up and removal are priorities.
Designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid-line applications accepting 6 mm outside diameter tubing with a male BSPP threaded connection. Confirm thread form and tube OD before installation.
Depressurize and isolate the system fully before removing or installing any fittings. BSPP threads are parallel and rely on the O-ring or face seal for pressure-tight connection; do not overtighten or apply thread sealant tape without verifying the sealing method required. Push-to-connect ports require square-cut, burr-free tubing ends for a proper seal. Licensed pipefitters or trained technicians should perform installation in accordance with applicable local codes and the equipment manufacturer's guidelines.
