The NORGREN B73G-4AK-AD3-RMG is a filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) combination unit designed to condition compressed air in a single inline assembly. It filters particulates, regulates downstream pressure, and delivers lubricated air to pneumatic tools, actuators, and valves. Rated to a maximum supply pressure of 246 psi with a 1/2 NPT port, this unit features an aluminum bowl and aluminum body construction, keeping weight low while providing solid durability in industrial service. It weighs 1.76 pounds and measures 5 inches wide by 9.58 inches tall. Licensed pneumatic system technicians and industrial maintenance mechanics are the primary installers.
This FRL combination unit is suited for compressed air systems in manufacturing, automation, and process environments where air quality and consistent pressure are critical to equipment performance. The 1/2 NPT port size fits common branch-line connections in light to medium industrial pneumatic circuits. It is appropriate for use upstream of pneumatic cylinders, air-operated valves, impact tools, and similar equipment requiring filtered, regulated, and lubricated air supply. Both new installations and replacement service applications are typical use cases.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install FRL combination unit for compressed air systems utilizing 1/2 NPT inline connections and operating within a 246 psi maximum supply pressure range.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic systems technician or industrial maintenance mechanic familiar with compressed air plumbing. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before beginning any work on the line. The unit should be mounted vertically with the bowl facing downward to allow proper condensate drainage and lubricator operation. Verify port thread compatibility and apply appropriate thread sealant per facility or code requirements before pressurizing the system.
