The NORGREN B73G-3AK-QP1-RMG is a single-piece filter/regulator combination unit designed for compressed air preparation in pneumatic systems. This intermediate-body FRL unit filters contaminants and regulates downstream pressure in one compact assembly. It handles up to 150 psi supply pressure and flows up to 123 SCFM, making it suitable for moderate to high-demand pneumatic circuits. A pressure gauge is included for real-time downstream monitoring. The unit features a polycarbonate bowl with bowl guard, a manual drain for condensate removal, and a 3/4-ounce bowl capacity. Licensed pneumatic system technicians and industrial maintenance professionals are the primary installers.
This filter/regulator is suited for industrial and commercial compressed air systems where a single-point air preparation solution is needed. The 3/8 NPT port sizing and intermediate body style make it a practical fit for mid-range flow applications on assembly lines, machine tools, and process equipment. The modular connection design supports integration into multi-unit FRL assemblies. Operating environments should remain below 125 degrees F to protect the polycarbonate bowl. The included pressure gauge and bowl guard add service convenience and component protection in demanding shop environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation filter/regulator for intermediate-body modular FRL systems with 3/8 NPT ported connections in industrial compressed air applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic systems technician. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before removing or installing any FRL component. Mount the unit upright with the bowl oriented downward to allow proper condensate collection and draining. Confirm all NPT thread connections are sealed with appropriate thread sealant and that downstream pressure is verified with the integrated gauge before returning the system to service.
