The NORGREN 5CV-100-000 is a manually operated, rotary switch detented selector valve designed for directional control of compressed air or gas in pneumatic systems. The detented rotary actuator holds each selected position mechanically, eliminating the need for continuous operator input to maintain a set flow path. With a Cv rating of 0.03 and a 3-way, 10-position configuration, this valve suits precise, low-flow pneumatic sequencing and selection applications. The 10-32 UNF threaded back port allows direct panel or manifold mounting. Licensed HVAC technicians, industrial maintenance technicians, and automation system integrators are the typical installers for this class of valve.
This valve is suited for light-duty pneumatic control circuits where a stable, manually selected flow path is required across multiple operating positions. The back-port orientation supports flush or panel-mount installations in control enclosures, test fixtures, and small pneumatic systems. The detented action makes it appropriate for selector-style applications where the operator must choose among discrete flow states and the position must remain locked without continuous hand pressure.
Designed as an OEM-style manually operated selector valve for use in light-duty pneumatic control systems requiring a detented rotary actuator with a 3-way, 10-position configuration and a 10-32 UNF back-port thread.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic systems technician or industrial maintenance professional. Depressurize the pneumatic system and relieve all stored pressure before removing or installing the valve. Follow applicable compressed air system safety standards and the equipment manufacturer guidelines for torque and sealant use on UNF threaded ports. Verify that the system operating pressure and flow rate are compatible with the valve Cv rating before placing the system back into service.
