The NORGREN 104251238 is a push-to-connect tube-to-male NPT tube fitting designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid line connections. It accepts tubing with a 12 mm outside diameter on each tube port and threads into a male NPTF port, creating a secure three-way connection without ferrules or compression sleeves. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, the fitting handles pressures up to 260 psi and a temperature range of 0 to 175 degrees F. The nitrile O-ring seals the push-to-connect side, making it well suited for air lines, light hydraulic circuits, and similar general-purpose service. Licensed plumbing and pipefitting professionals or HVAC technicians typically install this type of fitting.
This fitting is intended for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid distribution systems where a tee-style or inline push-to-connect transition between tubing runs and a male NPT threaded port is required. The NPTF thread form provides a pressure-tight mechanical seal at the threaded end. It is appropriate for use in industrial equipment, commercial HVAC controls, and similar systems operating within the rated pressure and temperature limits. Sold individually, this fitting installs quickly and does not require specialized crimping or compression tooling at the push-to-connect ports.
Designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid systems requiring a push-to-connect tube-to-male NPT tube connection with 12 mm outside diameter tubing and a 3/8 inch NPTF male threaded port.
Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing or installing any push-to-connect fittings. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and is free of burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect port. Thread the NPTF end into the mating port by hand first to avoid cross-threading, then tighten with an appropriate wrench. Follow applicable piping codes and equipment manufacturer guidelines for allowable pressure and temperature conditions in the installed system.
