The NORGREN 102670828 is a push-to-connect swivel tee adapter designed for tube-to-male BSPP pneumatic and fluid line connections. It accepts 8 mm outside diameter tubing and provides a 1/4 inch BSPP male thread port, allowing a single inline tube run to branch at a right angle without tools on the push-to-connect ends. The body is nickel-plated brass with a nitrile O-ring seal and is rated to a maximum working pressure of 260 psi. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians install this fitting in compressed air distribution, general-purpose fluid lines, and instrumentation tubing assemblies where a compact tee junction is required.
This fitting is suited for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid handling applications in light industrial, commercial, and trade environments. Its operating temperature range of 0 degrees F to 175 degrees F makes it appropriate for indoor compressed air systems, control lines, and similar low-to-moderate pressure pneumatic circuits. The push-to-connect ends allow fast tube insertion and removal, reducing assembly time in panel builds, manifold runs, and equipment retrofits where 8 mm OD tubing is used alongside BSPP-threaded port hardware.
Designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid line assemblies using 8 mm OD tubing and 1/4 inch BSPP male-threaded port connections. Suitable for use with compressed air systems and other media compatible with nickel-plated brass and nitrile seals.
Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing fitting or inserting this adapter. Ensure the 8 mm OD tubing is cut cleanly and squarely — a deformed or burr-edged tube end will compromise the push-to-connect seal. Thread the BSPP male end into the mating port by hand first to confirm thread-form compatibility before applying a wrench, as BSPP is a parallel thread that relies on a face or O-ring seal rather than a tapered thread seal. Follow applicable local codes and the equipment manufacturer instructions for maximum allowable pressure and media compatibility before placing the assembly into service.
