The NORGREN 102470418 is a 90-degree swivel elbow push-to-connect tube fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid line connections in general-purpose applications. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a nitrile O-ring, it provides a tube-to-male BSPP connection on each end, allowing quick, tool-free tube insertion combined with a threaded male BSPP port. The fitting is rated to 260 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 175 degrees F. The swivel elbow design reduces stress on tubing runs by allowing rotational adjustment after installation, making it a practical choice for tight or angled plumbing layouts.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic systems, compressed air lines, and fluid transfer applications where a 90-degree direction change is required. The 1/8 inch BSPP male thread interfaces with standard BSPP-ported valves, manifolds, and actuators. With a 4.00 mm tube outside diameter push-to-connect end, it accepts small-bore tubing common in instrumentation, automation, and control panel builds. Licensed pneumatic or mechanical technicians typically install this component during system assembly or field repair work.
Designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid systems using 4.00 mm outside diameter tubing and 1/8 inch BSPP male threaded ports. Suitable for use with valves, manifolds, actuators, and similar components specifying BSPP thread connections.
Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Hand-tighten the BSPP threaded end using appropriate thread sealant compatible with the system media; consult applicable plumbing or pneumatic codes for sealant and torque guidance. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect collet until it seats, and verify retention by pulling back gently on the tube. Inspect the nitrile O-ring for damage before installation and do not exceed the rated pressure or temperature limits.
