The NORGREN 102250628 is a straight push-to-connect adapter fitting designed for tube-to-male BSPP connections in compressed air and fluid control systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a nitrile O-ring, this fitting accepts 6 mm outside diameter tubing on the push-to-connect end and threads into a 1/4 inch BSPP male port on the opposite end. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 260 psi and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 175 degrees F. Licensed HVAC technicians, pneumatic system installers, and industrial maintenance pros use this fitting to transition between metric push-in tubing and BSPP-threaded manifolds, valves, or actuators without additional adapters.
This adapter is suited for light industrial and commercial pneumatic plumbing applications where metric OD tubing must interface with British Standard Parallel Pipe threaded ports. Its compact 22 mm overall length makes it practical in tight panel or manifold installations. The push-to-connect mechanism allows fast tube insertion and removal without tools, reducing installation time during initial assembly or field servicing of pneumatic control circuits.
Designed for use with 6 mm outside diameter push-in tubing and 1/4 inch BSPP male-threaded ports in pneumatic and fluid control applications. Verify thread form before installation, as BSPP is a parallel thread and is not interchangeable with tapered BSPT or NPT fittings.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic system plumbing. Depressurize and lock out the system before removing or installing any fitting. Apply a BSPP-compatible thread sealant or bonded seal washer to the male threads per the equipment manufacturer's recommendation, as BSPP is a parallel thread that does not seal on the thread form alone. Confirm tubing is cut squarely and fully inserted until it bottoms out in the collet to ensure a leak-free push-to-connect seal.
