The NORGREN 101471448 is a push-to-connect tube fitting with male BSPT thread ends, designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid-handling plumbing applications. It features a nickel-plated brass body and accepts tubing with a 14 mm outside diameter. Rated to 260 psi maximum working pressure and rated for service between 0 degrees F and 175 degrees F, this fitting suits a wide range of compressed air, gas, and compatible fluid lines. The push-to-connect mechanism allows fast, tool-free tube insertion while the male BSPT threads provide a secure threaded connection at the ported end. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers.
This fitting is suited for general-purpose pneumatic and plumbing systems in both light industrial and commercial settings. It is intended for use wherever a push-to-connect tube connection must transition to a male BSPT threaded port on manifolds, valves, cylinders, or equipment bodies. The 1/2 inch BSPT thread size is common on European and international equipment as well as a broad range of pneumatic control components. The nitrile O-ring provides reliable sealing against air, water, and many common fluids within the rated temperature and pressure envelope.
Designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid-handling systems accepting 14 mm outside diameter push-to-connect tubing with a 1/2 inch male BSPT threaded port connection.
Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Verify that the receiving port thread standard is BSPT before installation, as BSPT and NPT threads are not interchangeable. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect collet until it seats, and confirm retention by pulling back lightly on the tube before returning the system to service. Follow applicable plumbing and pneumatic codes for the jurisdiction, and do not exceed the rated working pressure or temperature limits.
