The NORGREN 101470828 is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel elbow adapter designed for tube-to-male BSPT pneumatic and fluid plumbing connections. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it delivers a maximum working pressure rating of 260 psi and accommodates an 8 mm outside-diameter tube on the push-to-connect end with a 1/4 inch male BSPT threaded port on the other. The swivel elbow design allows technicians to orient tubing runs after installation, reducing stress on fittings in tight or angled installations. An internal nitrile O-ring provides a reliable seal across the rated temperature range. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians install this type of fitting in both shop-fabricated and field assemblies.
This fitting is suited for compressed air, pneumatic control, and low-pressure fluid lines in light industrial and commercial environments. The 90-degree swivel configuration is commonly used where tubing must change direction within a panel, manifold, or equipment enclosure. It is appropriate for installations where working temperatures stay within the rated range of 0 degrees F to 175 degrees F. The push-to-connect end accepts 8 mm OD tubing without tools, speeding up assembly and simplifying maintenance access in confined spaces.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for pneumatic systems and fluid lines using 8 mm OD tubing with 1/4 inch male BSPT threaded ports. Confirm thread form and tube OD on the target system before installation, as BSPT is not interchangeable with NPT.
Depressurize and lock out the system before removing or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Ensure the mating port is clean and the BSPT threads are in good condition before engagement. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect end until it seats against the internal stop to achieve a proper seal. Do not exceed the rated working pressure or temperature limits in service.
