The NORGREN 101250848 is a push-to-connect tube-to-male BSPT tube fitting designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid system applications. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it provides corrosion resistance in moderate-duty environments. The fitting accepts 8 mm outside diameter tubing on each tube port and connects to a 1/2 inch BSPT male thread on the center port. It is rated to 260 psi maximum working pressure and handles operating temperatures from 0 degrees F to 175 degrees F. Nitrile O-rings provide the primary tube-port seal. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance trades use this fitting type when a threaded connection point needs to interface with push-to-connect tubing runs.
This fitting is suited for general-purpose compressed air, pneumatic controls, and compatible fluid lines in both light commercial and industrial settings. The BSPT thread conforms to British Standard Pipe Taper requirements, making it appropriate for systems specified to that thread standard. The push-to-connect tube ports allow fast, tool-free tube insertion, which reduces installation time during panel builds, equipment service, or new construction runs where 8 mm OD tubing is specified.
Designed for general-purpose pneumatic and compatible fluid systems requiring an 8 mm OD push-to-connect tube port paired with a 1/2 inch BSPT male threaded connection. Verify thread standard and tubing outside diameter before installation.
A licensed or qualified trade technician should depressurize and isolate the system completely before installing or removing any push-to-connect fitting. Confirm the mating port uses a true BSPT taper thread, as BSPP and NPT threads are not interchangeable with BSPT without appropriate adapters. Insert tubing fully until it bottoms in the collet to ensure a proper seal; a partial insertion will not hold rated pressure. Follow applicable pneumatic system codes and equipment manufacturer guidelines for sealant use on the threaded port.
