The NORDIC PURE AVF-pet-12-1 is a MERV 8 electrostatic register vent filter designed to improve indoor air quality at the point of delivery - the supply or return register. Each filter carries a permanent electrostatic charge that acts as a passive dust magnet, capturing airborne particles including pet dander, dust mites, pollen-sized particles, and general household dust as air passes through the vent register. The filter also physically blocks debris from falling into open ductwork during register removal or installation. This pack includes 12 individual filters. Filters can be trimmed with scissors to fit vent openings up to 4 inches by 12 inches.

These register vent filters are intended for residential and light-commercial applications where supplemental filtration at individual registers is needed alongside a standard HVAC system filter. Common installation locations include bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, family rooms, and RVs or motor homes. They are not a replacement for the central furnace or air handler filter - they work in addition to the required HVAC unit filter. Replacement interval is approximately every 60 to 90 days depending on air quality and usage conditions.
