The NORDIC PURE 8x24x1ExactCustomM14-6 is a custom-cut, pleated AC furnace air filter rated MERV 14, sold in a pack of six. Each filter measures 8 x 24 x 0.75 inches actual size and is built for high-efficiency residential and light-commercial HVAC systems. The electrostatically charged filter media captures over 90 percent of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and 75 to 95 percent of particles between 0.3 and 1 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and virus carriers. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install these filters in forced-air furnace and air handler systems requiring an exact non-standard frame size.

This filter is suited for residential and commercial environments where standard nominal sizes do not fit the equipment opening. The custom exact-size construction is made to the dimensions specified at time of order, making it appropriate for older or non-standard air handler cabinets, custom-built systems, or retrofit installations. MERV 14 performance is comparable to MPR 2800 rated filters. Because of the higher airflow restriction associated with MERV 14 filtration, the HVAC system must be rated to handle filters at MERV 14 or above.
