The NORDIC PURE 8x24x1ExactCustomM14-12 is a custom-cut, MERV 14 pleated air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Measuring 8 x 24 x 0.75 inches actual size and sold in a 12-pack, it captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and 75% to 95% of particles between 0.3 and 1 microns. Targeted contaminants include lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, virus carriers, and smog. The filter media is electrostatically charged and will not promote bacterial or mold growth on the filter surface. HVAC technicians and facility maintenance professionals are the primary installers of this filter type.

This filter is suited for residential and commercial forced-air systems that are rated to accept MERV 14 filtration or higher. Because MERV 14 carries elevated airflow restriction compared to lower-rated filters, the HVAC system must be rated to handle this efficiency level.
