The NORDIC PURE 25x25x1PM12C-6 is a MERV 12 pleated air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, sold in a 6-pack. The dual-material construction fuses a MERV-rated filtration media with a carbon layer, resulting in 33% more surface area compared to single-layer designs and reduced flow restriction. The activated carbon captures odorous gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) while the electrostatically charged pleated media traps fine particulates. This filter is installed in residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems by HVAC technicians or qualified service personnel.

This filter is suited for residential furnaces, air handlers, and central air conditioning systems where both particulate filtration and odor control are priorities. It addresses high-demand environments such as homes with pets, smokers, allergy sufferers, or recent renovation activity. The MERV 12 rating makes it effective against fine dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, lint, smoke particles, dust mites, virus carriers, bacteria, and allergens.
