The NORDIC PURE 24x36x1CustomM14-6 is a custom-made MERV 14 pleated air filter designed for residential and commercial AC and furnace systems. Rated at MERV 14 per ASHRAE standards, this filter captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and 75% to 95% of particles between 0.3 and 1 micron. Targeted contaminants include lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, virus carriers, and smog. The filter uses electrostatically charged pleated media housed in a moisture-resistant beverage board frame. It ships in a 6-pack and is manufactured to the exact nominal dimensions specified at the time of order.

This filter is suited for residential and light-commercial HVAC applications where high-efficiency filtration is required. The nominal size is 24x36x1 inches, with an actual size of 23.5 x 35.5 x 0.75 inches. MERV 14 filtration is appropriate for newer, high-efficiency HVAC systems rated to handle elevated filter resistance. Systems not rated for MERV 14 or above may experience reduced airflow when using this filter. Replacement is recommended every 1 to 3 months, or more frequently in homes with pets or occupants sensitive to airborne allergens.
