The NORDIC PURE 24x24x1M13MiniPleat-4 is a MERV 13-rated mini pleat air filter sold in a 4-pack, designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems including forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning units. The filter media is a self-supporting synthetic polyester fiber built with 2.5 times more pleats than standard filters, giving it significantly greater surface area for particle capture. The two-part, moisture-resistant beverage board frame holds its shape across the full service life. At a nominal size of 24x24x1 with an actual size of 23.38 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches, this filter fits a common residential and commercial duct opening without requiring modification.
This filter is suited for residential homes, apartments, and light commercial spaces where indoor air quality is a priority. The MERV 13 rating makes it appropriate for environments where occupants are sensitive to fine particulates, including households with pets, smokers, or allergy sufferers. It is also well-suited for spaces undergoing renovation where dust, drywall particles, and construction debris are elevated. Nordic Pure recommends replacing the filter every 2 to 3 months depending on usage conditions and environmental load.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for nominal 24x24x1 filter slots in residential and light commercial forced-air furnace and central air conditioning systems. Always verify the actual filter slot measurement against the actual size of 23.38 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual sizes frequently differ across HVAC equipment.
Air filters of this type are typically installed by HVAC technicians or qualified service personnel, though the task is within reach of knowledgeable building owners. Always shut down the furnace or air handler at the thermostat and disconnect power at the disconnect switch or breaker before opening the filter access panel. Install the filter with the airflow direction arrow on the frame pointing toward the blower and away from the return air duct. Replace on a regular schedule not to exceed 3 months under normal operating conditions.
