Built from electrostatically charged synthetic media, it captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and 50% to 70% of particles between 0.3 and 1 microns. Targets include lint, household dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, viruses, and odors. The carbon layer addresses gaseous contaminants and odors that standard pleated filters do not address.
