The NORDIC PURE 20x30x1M14-6 is a pleated MERV 14 air filter sold in a 6-pack, designed for residential and commercial HVAC systems that require high-efficiency filtration. Each filter measures 19.63 x 29.63 x 0.75 inches actual size with a nominal size of 20x30x1 inches. The electrostatically charged filter media captures airborne dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, smoke particles, dust mite debris, bacteria, and smog. The heavy-duty beverage board frame is moisture resistant, and the media is antimicrobial and hypoallergenic. This filter is rated equivalent to MPR 2800. Licensed HVAC technicians and facilities maintenance professionals install these filters in forced-air systems requiring MERV 14 performance.
The 20x30x1M14-6 is suited for newer high-efficiency residential furnaces, central air conditioning systems, and commercial air handlers rated to accept filters of MERV 14 and above. Because of the increased airflow restriction associated with MERV 14 filtration, the HVAC equipment must be rated to handle this filter grade. Systems that have previously used HEPA-style filters are typically good candidates. This filter is a strong choice for environments where occupants have allergies, asthma, or other respiratory conditions, and for commercial spaces requiring tighter indoor air quality control. Nordic Pure recommends replacing filters every 1 to 3 months depending on usage conditions, with more frequent changes in high-pet or high-allergen environments.
Designed for residential and commercial forced-air HVAC systems, furnaces, and air handlers that accept a 20x30x1 nominal filter and are rated to operate with MERV 14 or higher filtration media. Verify that your specific HVAC equipment supports the airflow restriction of MERV 14 filters before installation.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians or qualified maintenance personnel. Power down or set the thermostat to the off position before removing the existing filter to prevent unfiltered air from circulating through the system during the swap. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of airflow in the unit before seating the filter. Dispose of the used filter in a sealed bag to contain captured particulates.
