The NORDIC PURE 20x25x5HM12-4 is a MERV 12 pleated air filter designed for high-efficiency residential and light-commercial HVAC systems that use a deep-media filter slot. Nominal size is 20x25x5 inches with an actual size of 19.88 x 24.88 x 4.38 inches - a critical distinction when ordering deep-media filters, as nominal and actual sizes diverge significantly in this depth range. The filter media is hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, and electrostatic, bonded to a moisture-resistant beverage board frame with a metal mesh support grid. Each pack contains 4 filters. MERV 12 performance is comparable to MPR 1500-1900 rated filters and effectively captures lint, dust, pollen, smoke particles, dust mites, pet dander, mold spores, virus carriers, and other fine particulates.
