The NORDIC PURE 20x20x4M14+C-2 is a MERV 14 pleated air filter with an integrated activated carbon layer, sold in a 2-pack. The nominal size is 20x20x4 inches with an actual size of 19.5 x 19.5 x 3.63 inches. Electrostatically charged synthetic media captures airborne particulates down to 0.30 microns, while the activated carbon panel adsorbs odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The filter captures more than 90% of 1.0-10.0 micron contaminants and up to 85% of 0.30-1.0 micron contaminants per pass. A heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame and metal mesh support grid maintain structural integrity over the service life of the filter. HVAC technicians and homeowners install this filter in residential forced-air systems.

This filter is suited for residential HVAC systems where odor control and high-particulate capture are both priorities. The carbon layer addresses cooking odors, pet odors, and VOCs in the living space while the MERV 14 media handles fine particulates including pollen, mold spores, pet dander, smoke particles, dust mite debris, bacteria, and virus carriers.
