The electrostatically charged synthetic media captures fine particulates while the activated carbon panel adsorbs odorous gases, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and vapors. A metal mesh support grid is bonded to the pleats for structural rigidity, and the heavy-duty beverage board frame is moisture resistant. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable HVAC service personnel typically install this filter in residential and light commercial forced-air systems rated to handle MERV 14 or higher resistance.
